comfortable, low maintenance, light, and when they're dirty you throw em in the washer and they come out like new - no fancy high tech rubber soles that melt off!

Reputation: 8287 Array Went with the Adidas that do not have the wooden heel. Seemed like a more versatile lifting shoe
It seems all has been said but to repeat others performing any oly lifts or if you squat with a narrower stance and don't lift in a squat suit get oly shoes.
Chucks if you are a wide squatter or use gear(which as far as I know all gear users squat wide)
I powerlift but don't use gear and have a narrowish stance and I was amazed how much more stable and natural squatting felt when I switched from chucks to an oly shoe.
Rob if you want ones with less of a heel mark rippeotoe sells an oly shoe with a half inch heel rather than three quarters inch.
Reputation: 8287 Array Dude these things are epic. So comfortable. Rock hard sole. Snug fit...not too big of a heel but enough that I feel no issues with ankle mobility, absolutely love them. Would recommend to anyone... (the Adidas with the more normal looking sole...got em for 90)
Wtf is this ankle mobility bs?
