I'm not 100% convinced it's all ephedrine or just the brand names. It doesn't say banned just not manufactured or available. Just unclear of how it goes with the Act and I've literally heard zero rumbling about it and I usually at least get some heads up on things like this. I knew about CFC stuff being phased out. Confused.
Reputation: 62104 Array No it's not. It's CFC based inhalers. Orals cannot obviously have any CFCs in them. Common son.
I can't find any information in the short search I did on the information either which seems odd.
Beej check out the link posted in second/third post. At the bottom starred it Says "ephedrine/guaf (Primatene and Bronkaid tabs) will no longer be manufactured or available." with you makes zero sense.
Reputation: 62104 Array That's also a WV state thing. The ONLY federal document I can find is from the EPA stating ALL inhalers are toast. Nothing about tablets. Moreover, there are tons of user reports of people still able to buy them. According to that WV state, it's not to be sold beyond 12/31/11. Think about it.
EDIT: it's not even a state document. There are NO official records for this.

That's kinda what I've been saying. And was just typing about it being a state thing. I'd know about this haha was just pointing toward where people are seeing this.

Reputation: 12559 Array i dont think you can buy ephedrine online like that from pharmacies. Most states require you to buy it at the pharm counter and you need to provide your drivers license

I've bought bronkaid online before from a pharmacy in brooklyn. You have to scan your ID and send it over though for them to authorize the sale.
